My HAM radio call sign, k5atm, comes from one of my hobbies -- Amateur Telescope Making. Ray Collins and I host telescope making classes two nights a month at the Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Facility.
I am a past president of the Albuquerque Amateur Radio Club, past president of The Albuquerque Astronomical Society, and current president of the Upper Rio FM Society.
I have a lot of experience with embedded hardware and software development. I do most of my work on PIC processors but get by OK with Atmel, 8051 and ARM.
